Commonwealth Fusion Systems || 2025 – Present

Field mechanical engineer II for SPARC Assembly.

  • Field engineer for SPARC Station 3 assembly. Responsibilities include installation of diagnostic systems and plasma facing components within the Tokamak’s vacuum vessel.
  • Develop tooling and processes to perform a variety of tasks from welding and grinding to metrology and quality control.
  • Develop software tools to record, document, and highlight progress.

SpaceX || 2017 – 2025

Senior PCB Design Engineer for Starlink Program.

  • Lead Designer for Starlink Design projects including: Satellite Phased Array Antennas, Flight Computer, Ground Station Systems, User Terminal Phased Array, Satellite Power, Satellite Attitude and Control, and Satellite Laser Communications.
  • Responsibilities included managing teams of 2-6 people as well as coordinating efforts across all disciplines (mechanical, thermal, power, electrical, silicon, software, integration)
  • Developed automation scripts to improve team efficiency. Hours to minutes improvement.
  • Utilized simulation software to validate designs before releasing projects for manufacturing.

Boston University || 2016 – 2017

Research Technician I

  • Assisted in development of Boston University’s cube-satellite program.
  • Designed, Developed, and Tested solar power systems, thermal systems, and instrumentation.
  • CuPID (Cusp Plasma Imaging Detector). Joint project with Johns Hopkins APL, Drexel, and NASA Goddard Space Flight Center.
  • ANDESITE – University Nanosatellite Project for multi-point magnetosphere measurements. Developed with grants provided by the Air Force Research Laboratory
